Dr. NagendraBoopathy is an US-trained cardiologist with special expertise in interventional cardiology, angiography, and coronary stenting including primary angioplasty done during a heart attack. He is also a specialist in complex coronary stenting, post bypass stenting, and peripheral vascular stenting.

After finishing his internal medicine training in the prestigious PGIMER,

He finished his cardiology training at the apex institution of our nation,
All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi where he was awarded a gold medal for the best outgoing student.

Later he underwent one of the best and effective training in interventional cardiology at the renowned Mount Sinai Hospital.

New York under Prof SaminSharma, Prof AnnapoornaKiniand Prof George Dangaswhere He got trained in all kind of coronary and peripheral vascular interventions.

He is also the section editor of Imaging for the Indian Heart Journal.

He has over 25 publications to his credit in reputed international and national journals.
